Go faster in Sonic Socks! Yes, there are enough specifically Sonic socks to warrant entire pages of cataloging. Socks were fairly uncommon in the 90s classic era, but they have seemingly become more popular as time went on. Now, you can get little kids, regular kids and adults sizes of Sonic (and friends) themed socks. If the sock fits...wear it for Sonic style! If it is known where and what price it is, that information is usually posted along with the picture. Keep in mind that some 'kids/regular' socks will also fit some adults so be sure to investigate if you are shopping.

This is the Varsity Trio Crew Socks. They're an adult crew pair at Hot Topic in summer 2024. The 'varsity' in this case refers to the stripe pattern above and below the graphic and also near the toes. They're white otherwise, with a sewn-in art for Shadow, Sonic and Knuckles, all in action poses. This is on the leg part of the sock, so at least it can be seen with shoes on. The modern logo appears on the side of the foot part. They're a nice pair, with good Sonic content and it doesn't look kiddie or busy. It is reasonably enough priced at 7 dollars.

These are called the "3D Face Crew Socks" but really the only thing 3D about them is that there are flat flappy felt spikes sewn onto the sides of the faces. Which...is probably ok because a plush face on your ankle is probably not the best thing. These are (interestingly) modern Sonic, as usually classic is used for this type of cutsey-gimmick sock. They're forward facing (of course), and outline-free. The socks themselves are crew style (to give enough room for the design) and all blue except for the heel and toe. These are a fall season Hot Topic item, and in adults sizes for 5 dollars. It's not bad if you like gimmick socks.

These 2 sets are the "Duo Crew" and "Unstoppable Crew" sock pairs from Hot Topic. The left set are character type socks with the face at the top of the ankle area, and no other design. Notice on the Sonic pair though, the ears are separate little triangles, they are 3D and sewn on. (an interesting small detail) The red Knuckles socks don't seem to have any added element. (You can also mix/match wear these) The right pair has thumbs up classic Sonic with the word 'unstoppable' in small print below him and a circle behind him. The other pair is all gray with a large neoclassic running forward Sonic on it. Each set of 2 pairs is 7 dollars in fall season 2024

These are the Knuckles Checker Crew Socks from Hot Topic. It looks like some kind of neoclassic Knuckles portrait at the top with him looking somewhat...sly? over a checkered yellow background. The feet-tops have his name spelled out, and the toes are green. (The heel should be too) This is certainly on purpose to resemble his shoes colors. They're certainly bright/a stand out pair. This is adults sizes, for about 5 dollars in fall 2024

Fun fuzzy for your feet? These are the "Fuzzy Face Sonic Socks", and they live up to the name with a special textile texture used for the forward-facing classic face on the ankle area here. It's on a black checker background for variety. Interesting, because it's not been done before. This is a Hot Topic pair for adults and is 6 dollars.

Glowing socks? Yes! These are the Sonic GLOW crew socks and the white areas are glow in the dark. (How many people can claim that they have actual glow in the dark socks? Not many, and this is likely the first GITD Sonic sock made) Their design is also nice, with large Sonic element at the top that always shows, slogan "On the run since 91" & logo for the foot top that is nice and big/glow. Notice that it's a photo of the front and back, so they are 1 sided, which is good because it keeps the focus on the design being good and big. This is another Hot Topic, for 5 dollars you too can have glowing socks.

This is the "Sonic Retro Brights Socks 5 Pack" at Hot Topic. They are adults sizes, and thus really reasonable at 9 dollars for the set. They use 80s/90s type bright hot colors mixed with pastels and fun line art to create a recognizable style for the set. Each pair is different and fun. You have running Tails all-over design on bright aqua, a large neoclassic dynamic Sonic with rings band at the top, Amy on bright yellow with a band of (appropriately) roses), Sonic's face on white with some rings, and Amy's face on pink with some stars. Sure the last 2 designs aren't quite as strong, but it's still a good set if you like the style/era look. (What's also interesting is the title...notice how even though it uses pastels and 2 things with Amy are there they're not pigeonholeing it or screaming 'for girls'--which is great because the 90s is for everyone) Fall 2024

These are called the Tie Dye Sunglasses Sonic crew Socks and...they do live up to the name because it uses that kind of odd 'spiky prickly straight lines' Sonic art that is classic/uncommon and gives him kind of that meme-gif pixel black sunglasses as he does a peace sign? The socks themselves have that faux tie-dye to the fabric with light gray/dark gray shapes all over. The tie dye makes the art look like it's kind of floating there? It's interesting/new enough, and again pretty reasonable at 6 dollars for adults sizes at Hot Topic

These are called the 3D Plush Pastel Girls Socks. But really, they should have had 'emoji' in there somewhere because that's what the plush face and also design faces are. This is a silly/fun pair with a gimmick: there's a small plush Sonic face sewn onto the ankle part of one of the pairs. The rest of that sock has blue accents, heather gray and a scattering of rings. The other pair on the set is pink/white checkered with Amy faces over the top part of the foot/ankle. The colors are nicely pastel/matching, and the emoji theme is cute. I do wonder how popular 'gimmick' socks like this are though--do they do well with sew on big accents like that? Is it velcro so it doesn't get washed? Do kids make fun of it which is to be considered because these are marked for 'youth' which means some adults may not fit it. These are 10 dollars, and should be an Amazon item in Fall 2024
