Sonic Clothing of the USA- Modern Page 24
|This page should have 2014 2015 and 2016 Sonic clothes.
The USA is still in the golden-age of Sonic clothing, mainly shirts. Watch for great new stock art (From Sega) to appear on these shirts. Top Heavy seems to be producing less, but newcomer Bio World is making more. Both little and big sizes will likely continue. Little sizes are still ok to collect, even if you don't fit into them, because you can still fit the shirt into a frame if you like the design to make it like a poster. However, it should be noted that Kohls, JC Penny, Hot Topic, and FYE are also getting into carrying Sonic shirts. GKWorld may also be getting into shirts as well!
You can also shop at the Sonic Gear Clothing Store. .(Gear store actually has a ton of stuff, about 2 pages of it, but it DOES rotate & sell out.

|This is the "Around The World Tee".
It's an all black adult sizes tee with Green Hill Zone theme. You can literally see 'around the world' of this tiny sphere area. Circling it, you can see flying Tails, running Sonic, jumping Knuckles & Eggman in his Egg o Matic, along with various level staples like rings and palm trees. The classic logo is at the bottom, and everything's 16 bit look / pixelated.
This shirt may be associated with Sonic Mania, it appears when the first Mania items were released.
|This is called "Triple Threat Tee".
It's the same company that produced the 'around the world' tee seen above, and it's made for Sonic Mania. It has 3 columns of color that fade from screen-tone dots to solid. At the top of each is a sihlouette character face for the corresponding color. There's Tails for yellow, Sonic for blue & Knuckles for Red. At the bottom right is a small rectangle that spells out Sonic the Hedgehog, but in white Japanese letters. There doesn't appear to be any English at all on the shirt save for the copyright. What company is making these? It is also impossible to tell if it's meant to be classic or modern since the faces are just sihlouettes. This is a fall 2016 release.
|This tee is called "The Real Super".
It...kind of doesn't make sense as a title or even half a sentance. However, it does have Sonic, Tails & Knuckles with a Green Hill CG type background. And it is a 2016 item...making it one of the first few "post Boom" modern Sonic items. (Boom would not allow modern art characters to be featured on anything for over a year by removing the license from companies) Notice the little white rectangle tag. It's the same as the above 2 "Mania" promoting shirts & also has "Sonic the Hedgehog" stamped/written out in Japanese letters at the bottom like the shirt directly above also does. It uses slightly less common art for them too, with jump/twist Sonic, away/fist Knuckles & flying Tails. Not a bad tee at all, but where can you find it?
|In 2016, a company called "Tee Turtle" that only operates via online sales got a Sonic license to make a limited series of tees. (After the so called "boom embargo" lifted) They chose to do this "Sonic Cuties" series of 3 adults sizes shirts. (sold separatly) Each one has a 'chibi-type' cute little character & a slogan at the bottom.|
|Little Sonic looks annoyed while tapping his foot with "I'm Waiting..." (If the tee line is modern....which it is...why is the Sonic classic?) Shadow strolling with his eyes shut (actually, he's shutting his pupils...his eye lid is open) while holding his guns with "Haters gonna hate" & Knuckles lifting hand-weights while frowning with "Getting Swole".
It's a quite curious set of designs where Shadow is the most cheerful character of them all! The shirts are all from www.teeturtlle.com
|Christmas / Holiday season 2016 brought in a "Christmas craze" of items.
For whatever reason, 2016 is the first year that it seems that "Holiday Sonic" really started being pushed with wear-able merchandise. This "Caroling Tee" is one of the first items. It has new art for neoclassic Tails & Sonic. They're shown holding books of lyrics and singing. Little colored music notes surround them & they're also drawn with winter wear like a little scarf. Tails has his eyes closed. The shirt itself is plain & green.
The neoclassic art here is good, it resembles older Japan art of Tails where he's actually correct. What's unusual is that this has to be 1-off art. Unlike most stock art items (or tees!) the art is generally meant to be used "all-purpose" but this one has only 1: Songs. Maybe its a little out of place? CAN Sonic sing? Still, it's an interesting effort item.
|Unlike the others above (also released for Mania) This tee is directly Sonic Mania. It MAY be limited edition. The plain green tee has the Sonic Mania logo printed large in the middle, in black. There are little solid-color fill graphics for running Tails, Sonic & gliding Knuckles going over the logo. Do note that the logo here has 'weathering' that crackly 'faux wear' that makes the design look a big shabby/aged on purpose. The little characters don't have the weathering, though.
This is the first known Mania logo tee & was released late 2016.
|During the 'ugly Christmas sweater trend' of 2016, these tees appeared. They're meant to resemble 'sweater stitching' with a sort of pixelated look & simplified designs. If it was too hot for sweaters, this imitating tee could work instead. It's got neo classic finger waving Sonic, rows of snowflakes, rings & emeralds in the background. A red shirt was made, which makes sense, but why a black one? It spoils the point of trying to 'look like' or 'remind of' a tacky sweater.|
|This navy blue tee is called the Genesis Spirit Shirt
It has weathered white paint for its only design color. The rectangle design is a sort of collage of nostalgic type Sonic items/images. There are geometric shapes, an old-type monitor-like shape at the top (with sihlouette running Sonic in it) a row of rings, laying-down-waiting Sonic (from Sonic CD) & the bottom has the line work for the old Genesis system.
It's quite a classic-homage type shirt, and was released for Sonic Mania in late 2016.
