| Sonic the Hedgehog sporting goods!
Everything you need for a day outside? This can include clothing exclusively for sports, gear, and play items (balls/equipment) Yes, this is another improbable page of Sonic the hedgehog merchandise. This time, he helps you play outside and run around. This is actually rather appropriate, if you think about it, because all the characters are so active, and what Sonic stands for. A logical progression would lead to "activity" aids such as these. |

| A mini indoor basketball set appears from Sakar. Sakar makes various branded games, so now they have an indoor electronic basketball set themed for modern Sonic. It has a blue ball, red air pump (with the logo on it) and the backboard has Sonic with a scattering of rings. Notice that they made the top of the hoop yellow too/so it is also a 'ring'. The electronic part needs batteries which are installed on the back of the backboard. It has clips on top to hang it. The pump is needed because the ball is small and not made of 'regular basketball material', so it needs the air put back more frequently. This is 55 dollars (as it is still fairly large) on Amazon in Summer 2025 |

This Tech Deck fingerboard skate board appears at some point in 2025, but because it is small and their distribution in Target / Walmart seems uneven it's unknown as to when. The card back isn't helpful, it just shows what other brands they did. Notice the 2/2 on the front: what's the 1st board on this 'series'? The art here is their usual style, with the character portrait large in the center, a contrasting color for the top/bottom, and the logos at the front. It looks nice, is inexpensive at about 4 dollars, and is fun to collect...if you can find it. |

Voyager, apparently a company that makes kids skates gets a Sonic license. Here, they use to to make a pair of conversion skates. They can be either traditional style 4 wheelers, or convert to rollerblades. They're a hard plastic boot style with ratchet closure. They convert with the blue base that holds the wheels/pops off the bottom and snap on the other one. The wheels DO light up (as seems to be the very popular trend now anything with wheels and the wheels have to light up) you can see the effect a bit in the bottom photo. The Sonic details here are on the wheel base, logo on the tongue, and Sonic graphic on the side/white part. However, DO notice that the boot is styled like his shoe: the base is red, the strap is white with only 1 buckle being yellow, the back part represents the white sock and the blue area his leg. So, at more than a glance they're not just some rubber stamp rebrand, actual thought went into these. Which is good...because they are about 70 dollars/kids sizes only. These are an Amazon item. |
