Sonic may be known for his iconic red shoes, but you can be known for Sonic theme shoes if you can get or wear items from this page! This is all about Sonic Shoes (NOT slippers or socks, those have separate pages here on Gear) This can include sneakers, sandalas, slides, boots or anything else for in & outdoor wear. Shoes are NOT specific for boys or girls, anyone can wear any style. There are adults & kids sizes shown here as well. If it is known where to buy the pair, it'll be in with the item's listing as usual. Shoes are a cool collectible, thought they can often be a bit costly. Sometimes they sell out fast, or are hard to find. Being fairly large, they're good for display, but if they've been worn, care has to be taken to make sure they don't deteriorate.

A simple slip on Sonic slide from Ground Up shoes. This is one of those light weight almost foam plastic type shoes with an allover pattern of modern jumping twist Sonic. He's on a light blue slightly checkered pattern, and there's enough of him that the shoe comes across as slightly busy. The inside is plain light blue. As these are for kids, there's a back strap with angle hinge button thing to help keep them on. These are inexpensive at JC Penny, either 15 or 10 dollars, depending on the sale in 2025/spring.

Why is JC Penny calling this a 'slip on shoe'...it CLEARLY is not (but if you're searching for it you need whatever they titled it)

More shoes for people too little to appriciate them, here's a pair of light up Sonic sneakers. The part that lights is red area in the heel, it reveals Sonic's name when it does. These feature both laces and velcro for the top. The velcro strap has his name and some rings. There's a flat rubber Sonic icon for one side, and the other is plain, just having a blue splash type design. These are not by groundup, they're listed as 'sega' branded only. They're also reasonable at 25 dollars for the pair as they are for very small kids only. This is a spring 2025 item.

More from JCPenny and probably the same company too, if the style is any indication. These also light up, but this time with blue lights. The bottom right shows you the lights location, including one for the plastic coated Sonic icon. His name appears across the velcro strap, and these are also a lace/velcro combo. The plain/inner side of the shoe has a scattering of blue checkers. They're a nice and not too busy nor overdone style, but once again it's very little kids only. Oddly, despite being quite similar in the amount of effort/size to the ones above, these are 40 dollars which is a bit high for this size of shoe/a kid will not wear it for that long before growing out of it. This is called the Kohls Sega Sonic Slip On shoes. And again...nobody is slipping these on! They're clearly a velco and lace up combo, you are going to have to open these/bend down/etc like a normal shoe. They have an almost classic-feel to their color/design, however, these are modern styled, with a faux-leather Sonic icon on the outside, and face silouette on the inner side. There's 3 rings on the back, and his name is on the velcro strap. They're not busy nor overdone, and these are general kids, so the XL sizes may fit more people. A typical price is 40 dollars at Kohls (but this store features many coupons/sales etc) This is just 'sega' branded (according to them) and a Spring 2025 item.

They're mix and matching the shoes now at JCPenny. This is the Light Up Sega Kids Sonic Sneaker. You'll recognize the sole/light up gimmick from the pair above, but the uppers here are all different. It's toddler stuff again (too bad) but is nicely enough designed. There's a running Sonic bust for the side of the shoe, face silouette for the top of the toe, speed chevrons/his name on the velcro strap, and his name also appears on the sole when they light up. The inner side of the shoe has modernist shapes and some stars/silver ink. It's a nice pair, but again 40 dollars is a bit high for such a tiny shoe that only comes in a small range of little sizes. Ground up finally releases something more than just tiny kids can wear with Ground Up Big Kids Sonic High Top Sneaker. This dark blue shoe has a tie-dye effect, flat cut rubber Sonic icon for the side, his name across the heel sole, Eggman caution-stripe laces, a Sonic face clip for the laces, silver Sonic line art for the toe fabric (difficult to see) and the interior has fabric with various character faces. With Sonic details everywhere, and larger sizes that will fit some teens, this shoe could be a good pick at about 40 dollars. it can be at Journeys stores, possibly also Shoe Carnival. This is a 2025 item

The Shoe Carnival store gets this simply named kids sneaker, the Blue & Red Sonic Sneaker. It lives up to the name, with swirls that fade from red to blue, white sole with red front and heel, and running forward Sonic patch on one side. This is a combo laces and velcro top strap shoe. It is for little kids, but not only toddlers. It should be about 30 dollars, and is likely a summer 2025 item.

From a brand that's literally called "Brand Club", comes this shoe the Sonic Lite Little. It claims to have light up action, probably in the sole part but they don't indicate where the lights are. The Sonic content here is pretty minimal, just a forward-face close up on a plasti-leather patch on one side, and his name on the velcro top strap. This is another combo laces/velcro shoe for little kids so it's easier to put on/wear. The sides have swirls that fade from blue to black and the shoe is mostly just black. It's an all right shoe if a little kid wanted a subtler look.

This is a pair of kids/teens shoes (so may finally fit people reading this website) at DSW Shoe Warehouse stores. However, they have it VERY mis-labled both in store AND online in Summer 2025. They title this pair "Minnie Mouse Blue Shoe" (as in, you can't search it on the site unless you call it 'minnie mouse' it won't come up) Wierd. This should have been called Sonic Blue Splash sneakers though, because that is the design theme. The dark blue shoe has a light blue splash pattern on both sides, the inner with a scattering of rings, and the outer with a Sonic close up and 1 ring. The shoe tongue has the modern logo on it, and the laces are mid blue. It's a fun pair with a simple style, and white sole. These should be about 40 dollars, if you can find them.

H & M is a store that started in the UK and has come to the USA, so these MAY BE a 2 Country item, so long as H&M stores are present. This is their sonic High Top Blue Shoe. A bit more stylishly shaped than usual (as its a hightop) its too bad its still for little kids only. It has determination/forward Sonic as a sewn on plasti-leather patch on the outside, and the modern logo in yellow on the velcro hightop strap. The laces are blue to exactly match the blue parts of the shoe. A decent pair, at 32 dollars.

H & M also gets this "Sonic Painted-Style Sneaker", which was probably a spring 2025 item. It's a low rise all black shoe with textured thick white sole and velcro-only closure. The closure is a double strap with extra wide flap. The flap you pull up is what has the die cut Sonic face, quite large on it. The heel part is blue, and has the full color modern logo. The shape and mechanics of the shoe makes this one an interesting one. It's marked for 'kids' so probably no toddlers but it is also likely to be too small for most. It can be found on sale for as low as 10 dollars.

H & M goes for toddlers with thees, which is a bit too bad because they are fairly cool. This is a solo Shadow shoe, where he is a full color patch on one side, and the rest of the sneaker is a gray/black normal style. The sole has a nice/athletic shape to it...that no one will ever appriciate. Note the heel of the sneaker has his name in silver, which looks nice. These are about 30 dollars.

Target Triangle Toddler Slippers. These toddler sizes only slippers appear at Target in summer 2025. They have jumping twist Sonic on the tops, with a background of blue triangles. They're step-in style, with elastic around the heel to keep them on/keep feet warm. It's a decent/typical all blues modern type design, and should be about 12 dollars or so if you can find them in the store. Kids will like it as the Sonic design is nice and big and they're easy to put on. They do have a traction type sole underneath.

This is the Athletic Shoe Sonic... And...not much is known like who made it/the price/where you can buy it etc. It appears in summer 2025, though. It's a kids size shoe (not toddler), with an all right design. Sonic is nice and large on the side, with checker background. It's got his name on the velcro top strap and is nearly a high-top in design. The fronts of these look like faux suede, and the laces are white. It's a pretty simple shoe, but it does the job of being Sonic enough.

Some casual slip on shoes for kids, these appear at Kohls stores in summer 2025. They are the usual slip on design, where it has 2 areas of wide flat elastic at the front and no laces. They're flat soles/not ergonomic and aren't really meant to be used as a sneaker, just a casual shoe. These don't say they're for Sonic Shadow Generations, but that's got to be why they were made. One shoe is blue and Sonic themed, the other is black and Shadow themed. Even the tags/interiors are matching to the character for these. A mismatch shoe is a fad that will come and go (See the looney tunes spacejam shoes, etc) so this may either be in fashion or out of it depending on the trend. It's still interesting to see a Sonic theme shoe get the treatment. These are reasonably priced at about 28 dollars. But will they fit? Maybe, because it is labeled for 'big kids'.

The shoe making compan Josmo gets a modern Sonic license. And, as they got it in Summer 2025, they start off with summery selections like this pair of Pool Slides. Easy foam shoes to slip into at the pool or the beach. With Sonic on one wide top strap, and Knuckles on the other, they're a fun design...too bad they only fit toddlers and litte kids. They have an elastic strap for the heel so they stay on, and logo on the inside sole area. Despite being very small and made out of inexpensive material, and without gimmicks, these are still 25 dollars on Amazon.

These are the Sonic Light Up Sandals from Josmo. With these, they took the Sonic designing seriously. There's speed chevrons for one strap, his name on the other, a patch of him on the side, the pull/heel strap is themed to his shoe, and there's a big art of him where the foot goes. The background is blue/shades pixels. As is the trend, these do light up, with a red light for the heel and blue for the front of the foot. Easy to put on, and easy to stay on, they're thoroughly Sonic-designed. Which is good, because these are 40 dollars and only in little kid sizes.
