2024 is a particularly prolific year of Sonic stuff.. Both little and big sizes will likely continue. Little sizes are still ok to collect, even if you don't fit into them, because you can still fit the shirt into a frame if you like the design to make it like a poster. However, it should be noted that Kohls, JC Penny, Hot Topic, and FYE are also getting into carrying Sonic shirts as well as the staples of Amazon, Target & Walmart.
You can also shop at the Sonic Gear Clothing Store. .(Gear store actually has a ton of stuff, about 2 pages of it, but it DOES rotate & sell out.
Fans will be pleased with these, as the left, Fearless, Year of Shadow continues (its past the year in summer 2025 but this is still at Amazon) It has reaching Shadow CG art in front of a red circle background, and the year logo at the bottom. Of course, both are all black tees. The second one is Name Shadow Shirt, where...his name is indeed written around a square several times to make up the background for ready-for-action pose Shadow. The modern logo is in red at the bottom.
Collectible:
DO keep in mind that Fearless Year of Shadow is basically a 1 off, once this merch is gone that's it, so it's going to be more collectible than other items that just have Shadow on there. Grab anything you like while you can, especially now that the 'year' is technically done.
(Shadow's really taking over the clothing page/s at this rate) It's an all black tee with finger pointing up Shadow as the large design. The background is his name repeated in a fade of colors from dark gray to red/white , with the modern logo at the bottom. The repeated name like that makes him stand out, so this is a nicely unusual enough shirt. It is teens /adults sizes, and so is 19 dollars. This is a summer 2025 item.
Bio World releases 3 summer shirts as a set-only on Amazon. They're all the same tank top style, and for kids/teens. The first is slightly odd because of the slogan "Have A Sonic Day". What does that even mean? It has figure-8 peel-out Sonic and a row of rings for the art. The middle is a slogan tee with "Bring It On!" written in a sort of...1950s or 60s type font? An odd font choice for modern ready for action Sonic & also tilted Shadow up there. The last tee has "Team Sonic" with just him, and then small portraits for Tails and Knuckles. (Not very team-like) As these are kids, the set is only 23 dollars.
What's unique here is that Amazon (and I guess Sega) have agreed to a 'print on demand' formula for these designs. So, while the shirts here are all black, you could get the design on a number of other colors (like 10+ colors)
It has full color forward facing Sonic faces and then uses the line art for those same faces in a larger size and lighter blue for the background. It's an all-over pattern with the faces scattered everywhere. The light blue/line art and larger size was probably made to keep the shirt from looking too busy (only partial success)
Similar things have been done before, but it's an ok choice if you didn't have something already because it is only about 14 dollars. This is a kids/teens so the XL may fit more people. This appears on Amazon in Summer 2025.
This one didn't seem to appear until after the dedicated year was over? It shows up in Summer 2025. This has standing Shadow with the famous motorcycle in the background. The logo is right above the handlebars, so it becomes a part of the design. It's an all black tee, and the 3 part design is pretty simple/straightfoward. A good represenation for the theme of the Fearless year.
*DO buy any of this stuff with 'year of' when you see it IF you want it because it's not going to be re-released. This is about 19 dollars on Amazon and is an adult size item.
You can choose Knuckles, Shadow, Tails or Sonic. These are modified modern stock arts, in that a basketball is added somewhere to the art, whether it is the appropriate size or not. For Knuckles its under his fist, the Shadow pose has his finger kind of out, so it is set there, and peace-sign Tails has it set under his other hand. Each spells out the character name in a script-type sports-font (usually associated with baseball?) and has a round icon with a repeat of the art on one leg of the shorts.
These all released together (at Amazon) and refer each other...so then why is the Sonic one different than all the others? The shorts lack the draw string, the font is different, and he has no basketball. But the borders of the shirt collar/sleeve holes and shorts are the same. The cut is the same too...
Each set is 22 dollars in kids/teens sizes.
It seems so, as here's a "real basketball jersey material" set. As it is a different fabric/thick quality this set is 30 dollars in kids/teens size. With this, it has genuine stock art for modern Sonic, in that he is specifically drawn (NOT modified) to be actually playing basketball. Notice his different shoes and socks for this occaision.
The jersey here has a letterman's "S", and "Established 1991" around the art which is large and off-center for an interesting look that wraps around the side.
The shorts have the same full color art on one leg (with the script font that matches the other 3 characters above...) and the other leg has a white line art for a basket ball.
With sports fabric and many Sonic elements, this is a good set.

It's not a common gimmick because it is fairly hard to do (exact...sequence...for sequin sewing) and somewhat costly also because you have to buy and sew on all those sequins. However, kids love the effect, and it's used quite nicely here. The "Sonic" word switches to "Go Fast!" when you flip them by rubbing it with your hand either up or down.
The shirt's main art is running modern Sonic with paint splats, streaks and some screen-tone dots. The shirt itself is gray, so the yellow/black sequin panel stands out nicely. The inset shows what it looks like flipped.
Sequin items should be HAND WASHED and also NEVER go into the dryer/always hang it up. Where is this sold?
This is an Amazon item, but a NEW type of item "print on demand". This means the shirt can be any of about 10 different colors, and it is only created when someone orders it. They are mens' sizes, and always about 20 dollars.
This is the Circle Sonic Characters tee. Something pretty similar has been released before, but it was apparently popular so here it comes again to Amazon in Summer 2025. It's a blue tee with sideways peace-sign stepping Sonic in the middle. There's a circle of character portraits around him, which is fun because it features a great many characters. There's Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big, Metal Sonic, Silver, Espio, Rouge, Eggman and Shadow. The modern logo is large at the bottom.
It should be noted that this has that 'faux wear' or weathering effect to it, so the design looks rubbed/old even when it is new. This is a kids/teens shirt so it is a bit less at 14 dollars.
This is the Feel The Heat Sonic shirt. It's another where it looks like he's from an era that he was never in. This time, being the 80s/a 'miami vice' type of look with a circle fade, fade-font, and palm tree silouettes. The character colors also have hot colored edges/shading to go along with the design and the slogan. It's not a bad look on the all-black tee, but it's odd to see him kind of pushed into trying to be 80s. This has Sonic, waving Tails, and fist out Knuckles. An interesting design, and unlike others/you won't already have something similar.
