Accutime (which sounds like it would make watches instead of cameras...) makes this 5 Mega Pixel modern Sonic themed digital camera for kids. It has big bumper grips on the sides, is blue, and has jumping-forward Sonic art over a CG GHZ background for the front face of the camera. It can take 5 mega pixel photos and 1080p videos as well as recording just audio.
It also costs only 30 dollars! Can you imagine telling someone in 2000 that you could by a camera that did all that, and was Sonic themed for only 30 bucks? It would be hard to believe, but here it is. It is interesting how technology goes along.

This is the Hori Split Pad Compact Switch Controller. Hori electronics is back with another Nintendo seal of approval item, this time with Tails & Knuckles on one side and Amy & Sonic on the other. Everyone is on a cloudy type background with action poses. It's a nice look, with bright and pale colors that seems refreshing for you switch. This appears in late 2023, early 2024. Price detail pending |

A new company gets the classic Sonic license in 2024, "Fizz Gaming Hedz". Just from the name, you can tell what they're going to do...which is to make head shaped headphone holder stands. Their first offering is classic Sonic as a bust on a GHZ style base with the logo on the front. It is quite large, as you can see here to support the normal human sized headphones and keep them easily on the face when not in use. The sculpt is good, the paint is good, and it looks quality...if you've got the space for it. This is about 40 dollars and seen on Amazon
It probably wouldn't be too big a surprise to find this at Gamestop or other electronics retailer too, as it's a fun, big piece to catch the eye. The box looks nice, and because it's functional, (fits well with the Cable Guys stuff too) its a good idea for a Sonic room or gaming room.

Conveniently, right after the above headphone holder appears, some more headphones appear! And at a nice price too, these are the 5 Below 5 Dollar Sonic wired headphones. And, of course, they're a 5 Below stores exclusive. But, you can get get them online at their website or in the physical stores in 2024. It has a forward-facing modern Sonic face on the ear circle outer portion, with the speed boost chevrons in white above that (on the adjustable part. The band is light blue with a yellow head-top bumper thing. The ear pad area is yellow faux leather. They plug into anything with a headphone jack, and have 'kid safe' volume limiter on it. The sound quality is unknown because it's 5 bucks only. |

This is another of those 'easily rebrandable items' that companies make and then sticker up as soon as they get a license to something. In this case, they got a hold of the modern license and so here comes a..."Karaoke Kids Radio'? Possibly the first Sonic Karaoke device (and liable to be the only one, that's a wierd combination of things...) it's a boom box shaped item with attached corded microphone. It has a carry handle, and is battery powered. The mic has an on/off switch, and a Sonic silouette for an added detail. The main radio has a CG scene with logo, and another larger one with STK on a GHZ type background. These are stickered-on elements to the rebrandable radio. How do you get songs on there? Karaoke is usually done over lyric-stripped versions of the songs but if you're just loading this with .mp3s or something? Its cost & selling location is unknown. |

Well, this is likely a first... It's a Sonic toy riding car, one of those big battery powered cars that little kids can actually sit in and drive around the yard with. It's also clearly one of those 'easily re-brand-able' toys where there's just a blue toy and then it gets stickers to give it whatever branding the company wants. In this case, the company is Sakar, who has made several Sonic things in the past, and now chooses their biggest yet! The Champion ride-in car toy. |
|||||||||||||||||
Because it's a regular car it doesn't look like the "Speed Star" (Sonic's All Stars Racing vehicle) but it does have quite a few stickered details. Sonic is pictured driving on the windows/wind shield with Knuckles in the back seat, the logo is on the seat inside, there's an 's' near the front and the hood is checker flag/Sonic-Trophy themed as well. This has a re-chargable 6V battery, musical steering wheel, hood under which you can store things, and fits kids aged 2 to 5 or so. |

Here are more details of the car when seen from other angles. It does have plenty of Sonic elements. The back has checkered flags and Sonic silver icon picture with "Green Hill Grand Prix" at the top. The other side of the car has Sonic & Tails riding in it. Lifting the hood reveals a space where you can probably store some small toys, as well as a picture of some rings scattered in the bottom of it. This is a cute touch as well. But look at the size of the hand lifting the hood, it shows you that the car really isn't that big at all. |

It's Sakar again, this time with another rather left-field item: The "Sky Racer Drone", which it is not a drone because it does not fly by itself or in any pre programmed way, it's just a quad copter that you control with a video game style game pad that comes with it. And, despite how nicely they branded the above battery-car, this is just a super generic quad copter they set in blue plastic and then slapped a Sonic sticker onto a small portion of. This barely counts as a Sonic item, there's nothing 'Sonic like' about it, even the box is more Sonic than this is. Stuff like this smells like kind of a cash-in, it's barely even branded. |

This is the Gaming Speedster Kit: Sonic Vs Shadow Edition If you remember the Car Gaming Switch Kit from the previous page, here is CSI back again with more Switch accessories. This one is more deluxe than the car kit. You get 2 of each thing, 1 for Sonic & 1 for Shadow, each in corresponding red or blue styles. There are steering wheels, control pad shapes, Switch edges, games case and silicone thumbstick cover things. The Switch case itself has a vs theme, with them running toward each other in a dynamic way. It's a nice kit, especially for 19.99. |

And here is the Gaming Speedster Kit: Blue Blur Edition. This is out at the same time (and the same places and prices) as the one above, but it stars Sonic alone, and looks more like the car kit (with figure 8 peel out art) but it comes with 2 steering wheel holders, 2 controller holders, Switch case, controller covers, and a cartridge safety storage case thing. They're all themed to Sonic, and mostly blue. It also has that same set of silicone button cover things as well.

Now here's a biggie, both in price and in scope: It is Limited Run's Sonic Shadow Generations Collector's Edition pre order bonus package, and it is 250 dollars for the whole thing. You do get a lot of stuff though, and the star of the show is the Sonic & Shadow on a Dreamcast console replica display figure that is actually pretty large. It's fully 3D and realistic. There are also hero, dark and neutral Chao figures, shoe keychains for |

classic, modern Sonic and also Shadow, an art book with items and splash pages from the game, of course, the game itself on whichever console you chose, the display box that contains it all, a 'commemorative dc jewel case', the individually numbered certificate of authenticity (that's the Shadow item below the box) the game's soundtrack on CD in the CD case, and a steelbook game case (the bottom right item). It is a good bonus package if you have got the space for it.
