This page should be items from 2023 through 2024 only. Warm weather clothing may be more expensive, but the designs are still pretty cool. Box Lunch gets an exclusive Shadow jacket in late 2024. It's a racing style outerware jacket with zip front that's made of a thicker/ warm material. It features embroidered details on the front and back.

The shoulder stripes on both sides have his name on them, there are yellow lightening bolts for both sleeves, and there's a larger design for the middle both front and back. The front has his name across it, symbol, and small pose for him with "Ultimate Power". The back has him in front of a checkered flag and lines with "Speed and Power" as the slogan. As this is a quality item, and BoxLunch is a bit of a higher end brand, this is probably about 90 dollars in store.

Sonic Shadow Generations Amazon Swt Shrt

In time for Sonic Shadow Generations, Amazon releases 2 totally Shadow dedicated sweat shirts. The left is black with a drawstring hood and kangaroo pocket. It has a large graphic of Shadow using the Doom Wing power up and a streaky red background.
The right shirt is blue, with a large rectangle scene in CG with 'looking back' pose for Shadow and the slogan "Ultimate Power".

The return to fashion of the 'double sleeve tee'?
Maybe, if this selection from Old Navy in Winter 2024 is any indication. It's a long sleeve tee with the look of a short sleeve being worn over it. (When really, the long sleeve is sewn just under into the 'short sleeve') This one is 2 tones of gray, and uses washed-out color for the design. modern profile running Sonic is on 4 colors of lines, with his name in a 'vintage-ish' type of font large in the background. The effect combines to give it a kind of retro look. This is quite reasonably priced around 10 dollars, especially because it is a teens size, so the XLs may fit adults as well. Unfortunately though this one seemed hard to find in the actual stores (it's order-able online but ON shipping isn't always great priced)

Here are 2 tees for little kids only.
These are toddler and 'young kid' sizes only. They're sold as a pair on Amazon for 27 dollars. Which is kind of high for something small like that, even though they're a long sleeve for winter.
The first is a sporty style tee with dark navy sleeves and collar, and white body. It has neoclassic art for Sonic, Tails and Knuckles with a palm tree and the slogan "Life in the Fast Lane" in magazine-cut out style font at the bottom. The 2nd tee is all blue and more traditional, with classic Sonic in a yellow circle, and the classic logo in color at the bottom/done in a large size.
These are ok, because little kids won't alraedy have similar designs, and they're nicely classic if a bit costly.

Hypeland is a modern fashion brand that makes both clothing and accessories. They did a Sonic series that involved shirts, hats and these: the sweatshirt hoodies seen here in different styles for each.
These are nice, because they're designed on the front and the back, so nothing just looks stamped on or anything.
The first one is a zip front black hoodie with music listening Sonic line art big on the back, with equalizer patterns around. The front continues the patter on one side, and writes out their logo farily large. The only color of ink here is light blue so it stands out on the back.
The 2nd one is a gray draw string hoodie with kangaroo pocket & no zipper. It has 3 neutral chao with different expressions having fun on the front & puffy letters that spell out "Chao Garden & Hypeland"
The last is a no zip no pocket black hoodie with Metal Sonic. It has a 'stats screen' like line art background, fairly close-up of him, his name & their logo. The front of it has the full stock art of him smaller. It's always cool to see him solo on something. These are 2024 items. Price data pending. Factory photo.

This is the Color Block Shadow Sweat Shirt at Hot Topic
It's another of their adults sizes quality hooded sweat shirts. It doesn't have quite the detail of the previous one, but it adds more splashes of red to go with the black. There's red bands for the sleeves, red stitching, and red panels for the sides. His name is spelled out quite large across the top in a prickly font, with the Shadow symbol behind it on one shoulder. There's nice/large art of him on one side, and a silouette face on the pocket on the other side. The hood does have draw strings, and it is a zip front.
As it's adults sizes, detailed, and has a zipper this should be about 50 dollars in 2025

The Year of Shadow is apparently continuing into 2025 at Hot Topic, and no one is complaining because they keep making cool stuff for him. Each of these designs appears on sweat shirts, hoodies and also regular tees. (Photo shows a few) There's Unleash Ultimate Power with him on a red background,

Shadow in a simple circle which also says "Unleash Ultimate Power", but this time it's a hoodie, then a choice of hoodie or sweat shirt with pointing Shadow, the motorcycle and "Ultimate Power" written at the bottom. Tees here will be about 20, and sweat shirts either 30 or 35, depending.

Winter 2025 is shaping up well with 4 more sweat shirts that bring nice variety. These are all likely to be Hot Topic exclusives, and should be about 31 dollars each.

The first is "Sonic Cast Gray Tee", which has many characters including Eggman, and Sonic's name along the side and bottom. The 2nd is Sonic Characters Names Tee, which has Sonic, Knuckles, and Shadow, with all of their names around the edge of the square /checkered background. Then there's "Classic Cast Sonic" which has Eggman and Metal Sonic too. The last is Knuckles Solo Tee and the small print there has "the echidna" (which is pretty uncommon)
Each one is nicely enough designed, and good for if you didn't have anything similar. Each of these would be 31 dollars.

Here's a closer look at the Shadow Ultimate Power design from the sweat shirt montage above. It also appears on a non zip front kangaroo pocket gray draw string hoodie. The design is the same with him in full color and the slogan in red, and it has 2 of the Shadow symbol at the bottom edges.
Hot Topic may redo tees and sweat shirts with the same design on multiple different styles of clothing as the year goes along. Not everything may be released at once, which is fine too, so if there's a design you missed it may appear on something else later. This one is a winter 2025 design and should be about 33 dollars.

"Varsity" seems to be making a comeback at various stores, and now Hot Topic is one of them. (Seems odd because HT's whole theme is anti-popular, anti-sports jock star people) This is the Sonic Varsity Faux Leather Jacket. There's genuine effort put into this one as well, which is nice to see. There's the sportsmans font fuzzy/loops textured "S" for the sleeve, and 5 patches for the front. Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow & Tails are all forward-facing faces, and then the sleeve bottom gets the modern logo as an embroidered full color patch.
The sleeves are blue with black stripe, it does have a zip front, and there are also pockets. Because it features many added items and is made of that plasti-leather material, it's also more expensive at 75 dollars.

The Hypeland collaberation with Sonic included the most special piece in their selections: the Hypeland Super Sonic Varsity Jacket. It was also their costliest, likely more than 120 dollars. It has complete varsity style with metal button front, the cream colored sleeves (With large rings patch on one of them) the big sports-style signature patch on the front of "H" with a Sonic face, and then big design for the back. The back has Super Sonic among the

Chaos Emeralds. Each emerald has a letter in it to spell out Hypeland. There are also embroidered star sparkles. The script embroidery at the bottom says "Hypeland & Sonic". The front chest area has a big embroidered area with both logos and the phrase "The worlds best brand and the worlds fastest hedgehog". The jacket also has a large collar and pockets. It lives up to the style in its attention to detail.

Hot Topic gets a nice Super Sonic art, and applies it to both a tee and a sweat shirt in winter 2025. It has the modern stock art for him in a rectangle, with all 7 emeralds in another rectangle. A modern/future type font spells out his name at the top and bottom. Both the tee and sweatshirt are black, which looks extra nice with the rainbow of emeralds and his yellow color. The sweatshirt is otherwise pretty plain, it's just a draw string hoodie. The tee is 20 and the hoodie is 31 in adults sizes.

This is called the "Critters Sweat Shirt" and it is from the Stray Rats x Sonic Collab 2021.
And...it sure is brown. This is a 2 sided item, so it has 3 of the little animals that come out of the badnicks on the front, along with the collab logo rectangle, and then the back has the rectangle again but larger. It's red and gray, which...with the brown shirt is kind of...a choice.

This is the Techno Sweater Sonic. And...did they use all of the technology to make it as tacky as possible?? This is supposed to be a fashion apparel brand but what is even going on with this. The body section is olive green, the arms are army green, and the 'art' is the worst color of red they could have chosen to not go with these colors.
It has their logo in huge font down one sleeve, the SR on the other, and then classic Sonic as the main art. He's a pixelated line art, in only red, with random stars placed on/around him. Because it's line art, you can sort of see his name in poorly pixel font vertically through the art for the 'background'. It comes across as rather garish and strange--but maybe that was the idea. Either way, both of these were 2021 items
