Use 'em at home or at school, Sonic school supplies are great. They're also pretty collectible, because they often feature many different characters & are generally inexpensive upon release. This page will have ONLY modern supplies. If you don't need school, and just need some place to store your gear, why not try handy boxes, totes, school bags and binders? Canvas Tote Bags Sonic Eggman Here are 2 all canvas tote bags. They're a sturdy cotton canvas for 2025 release. These are Hot Topic items, but they're rather costly at 30 dollars per bag.
The first is a usual off-white canvas color with modern Sonic & Tails in the winged ring with logo at the bottom.
The 2nd bag is all black with the Eggman Hazard Tile in the middle and a 'cracked earth' lines background. The slogan there is "Think you can beat me? Hahaha" Eggman also appears as a white line art at the bottom. The handle for this one is wider and red. It's interesting to see Eggman starring on a bag.
Blindbagged Mystery Stickers Set This is a Mystery Sticker Pack...which means more blind bagging irritiblity. Especially because each pack is 8 dollars and has 3 stickers from the set of 6. But...how many packs will you have to buy to get all 6, it's not like they have the first 3 in one bag and then the other 3 in the other, you know there'll be duplicates galore. Just let fans buy stickers!
Anyway...You can get Sonic Amy Tails trio with 'don't stop', a pointing eggman portrait, Shadow with speed lines and his name, Sonic Tails & Amy with life in the fast lane slogan, a Sonic portrait, or Knuckles punching/gliding forward with his name. (The subhead there is 'the echidna') They're stylish and fairly large, it's too bad blindbagging gets in the way. These appear at Hot Topic in winter 2025, but may be elsewhere.

What's a plush doing on School Supplies?
That's because it is actually a Tails Mini Backpack Plush. However, this time the plush doll isn't very mutant, it looks pretty normal and nice for an ok modern Tails. It is not taken over by the functionality of the backpack...which means this is more likely the space of a small purse set as a zipper in the doll's head or back. There are the usual nylon straps on the back.
This is a winter 2025 Hot Topic item, at about 22 dollars, but what company made it? Hot Topic doesn't say. They did a pretty good job as it does not suffer big-body, does have the glove/sock belts, the expression is ok and so are the ears/face proportions. The bangs are a floppy flat cloth in this case. It's not amazing but it also isn't terrible. An ok item.
Valentines School Cards With Tattoos Sonic Sonic Valentines!
These seem to be the first modern type Sonic Valentines. For school card exchanges, it's common for many franchises and etc to have a set of cards to exchange with the whole class that are character themed. Sometimes they come with bonuses, and these do: there are temporary tattoos to place in the envelope with each flat card. There are also heart seals for the envelopes to shut them.
The cards themsleves have the expectable stock arts of various characters, and slogans. However, the slogans have all been modified to have the word 'valentine' in there whether it makes any sense or not. And mostly it doesn't.
The cards you can get are "Its all about speed valentine", "gotta go fast valentine", "Sonic valentine speed", "come on valentine step it up", "no time for valentine games", "come on valentine lets roll", "life in the valentine fast lane" and "time to run valentine". So, it's basically just shoe-horning a word where it doesnt fit which make them all seem rather odd. However, it is interesting to see that modern Sonic did finally get the usual franchise treatment of going on elementary school valentines.
This set was found at Hobby Lobby, but other stores had to have them too. The company is "Paper Magic Group By Design", and it was for 2025 Valentines day.
Neutral Chao Backpack Game Stop Plush A Neutral Chao backpack has been spotted at Game Stop.
It's a pretty simple item, with the nylon woven straps (in matching light blue) on the back and the usual zipper compartment. As is the usual with these things it's less a backpack and more a 'tiny space purse' becuase you can barely fit anything into the compartment as it is very small and competes for space with the stuffing of the item, as it is plush first and backpack second.
It's a decent enough thing with embroidered eyes and mouth. The yellow does have the 'fade' effect for the tips of the limbs and the head. It is 33 dollars at Game Stop, and it is an all right way to get what is most likely a just about life size / real size Neutral Chao for your collection. Photo by Taaron
